Until we banish the Electoral College, elections will maximize the needless melodrama and, worst still, minimize the sovereignty of the people.

With enormous grassroots outreach that only they could credibly accomplish, progressive activists were a crucial part of the de facto united front to defeat Trump.

When demagoguery scorns simply counting votes, the range of disruption is inexhaustible – that’s where countries go to die.

Democrats will simply have to stop being the party of Wall Street and the arms industry and start passing legislation that actually benefits the people.
