A new national poll conducted by Fox news finds Hillary Clinton trailing Bernie Sanders by 3 points. Sanders polled at 47 percent of Democratic primary voters, with Clinton polling at 44 percent.

Last month the same poll had Sanders at 37 percent and Clinton at 44 percent.

According to Democratic pollster Chris Anderson, Sanders has been gaining ground in a process that “appears to have accelerated since the contests in Iowa and New Hampshire.”

The biggest difference in Clinton’s numbers has been among women. She originally polled 28 points ahead of Sanders among women voters, but her lead has been reduced to only 3 points.

Although other national polls have still found Clinton ahead, Sanders has still been closing in. A poll by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal show Clinton ahead by 11 points, half of what it was at the start 2016.
