55-year-old William Celli of Richmond California was arrested this week for building explosives with the intention of hurting Muslims. His entire neighborhood had to be evacuated.

A threat was called in by an anonymous individual who said the Celli was building explosive devices and threatening to use them against Muslims. The called may have been a neighbor.

Police took three days to respond to the threat. When they finally did, they evacuated the entire neighborhood and deactivated a homemade bomb. They were not sure if the bomb was active or not.

Celli is a dedicated supporter of Donald Trump, whom he would follow “to the end of the world.”

Trump’s recent anti-Muslim comments have been increasingly linked to an increase in violent activity from white right-wing extremists. Celli, who is married and owns his own plumbing company, has been in Contra Costa County Jail since Sunday.
