While corporations aren’t people, they don't deserve handouts or our "hard-earned" dollars for no reason. No more crony capitalism—It's time we end corporate welfare for good.

When we talk about two things that should never be combined, government and Corporatism is one of them. The massive power held by U.S. global corporations and the rich and powerful has the ability to do irreparable damage to America.

America used to have antitrust laws, but no longer. Giant corporations are now taking over the economy and weakening antitrust enforcement. We are living in a land of monopolies.

Our government is a dysfunctional, corporate-ruled mess with a massive debt that has gotten out of control. “A massive tsunami, a mega-powerful financial tidal wave, is growing in intensity off the shores of America” and only we can stop the chaos that seems inevitable.

The current debate over the TPP is a secretly negotiated deal that is the complete opposite of “liberal” reform, even though it is trying to be passed off as such. We have got to stand together and get rid of this corrupt agenda.

Why do Republicans think that if the U.S. occupied Iraq for longer, Ramadi would have somehow become a U.S. protectorate? The whole debate over “who lost Ramadi” is no debate because Washington never had Ramadi.

The security breach at the military complex Y-12 sent shock waves through the national-security establishment. While the three Transform Now Plowshares activists faced federal sabotage charges and up to 30 years in prison, they were still out on bail and free to attend the congressional hearings prompted by their act of civil disobedience.

We’re paying investment bankers hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars a year to make money for Wall Street. We ought to be paying educators and staff a decent wage to develop and guide the nation’s human capital – an investment that would benefit everyone.

The President has "worked himself into such a tizzy over the TPP." While his progressive friends in Congress are questioning the secret trade agreement, Obama is lashing out at them in a pathetic show of presidential petulance.

Wall Street is back to many of its old tricks. But the bigger they get, the more likely it is that the government will bail them out if they get into trouble again. So what needs to be done to tame Wall Street?
