The wealthiest 160 Americans now have a net worth of over $2 trillion dollars, furthering the wealth gap divide even more.

At the beginning of last year, these 160 Americans had a combined net worth of $1.7 trillion. In the last year, they have increased their net worth by $312 billion. 

Topping the list is Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon. He alone increased his worth by over $33 billion. Following Bezos is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose wealth increased by over $20 billion, and Google co-founder Larry Page, whose wealth increased by over $12 billion. At the bottom of the list was George Soros, well known for transferring massive amounts of wealth to his Open Society Foundations, who saw a decrease in net worth of $2.2 billion.

According to the Census Bureau, as of 2013 (the last year for which this data is available) the average American household was worth roughly $80,000. Broken down by age you get the following:
