Donald Trump, who has been caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women, has declared the month of April to be National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

He also claims the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice will increase assistance for victims of sexual assault and will work harder at preventing future attacks.

According to a statement from the White House:

“This includes supporting victims, preventing future abuse, and prosecuting offenders to the full extent of the law. I have already directed the Attorney General to create a task force on crime reduction and public safety. This task force will develop strategies to reduce crime and propose new legislation to fill gaps in existing laws.”

His speech about National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month was filled mostly with statements and remarks about the issue rather than providing a plan to solve sexual violence and rape culture.
