Donald Trump spoke this weekend in an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, during which questions arose about a well known international conflict – Russia and the Ukraine.
When Stephanopoulos asked about the Republican’s stance on the conflict, Trump appeared to be ignorant of Russia’s involvement in the conflict, and Ukrainian politics, altogether.
First, Trump claimed that “[Putin’s] not going into Ukraine, okay, just so you understand. He’s not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want.”
When questions further, Trump suddenly switched tactics, saying “that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama.”
