Bernie Sanders just won the West Virginia primary tonight. This is will be the 19th state he has won so far. This victory comes at a time when some are questioning why he is remaining in the race despite Hillary Clinton’s lead in the overall delegate count.
Yuuuuge congrats 2 Bernie Sanders for winning West Virginia! When JFK won WV, it was his turning point. 8 state primaries left, B ahead in 5

“With this outcome, we now have won primaries and caucuses in 19 states,” Sanders said in a statement after the results were in. “We are in this campaign to win the Democratic nomination and we’re going to stay in the race until the last vote is cast.”
Sanders also says he believes he would have a chance if running against Trump, unlike Clinton. “It is not only in national polls where we defeat Donald Trump by bigger numbers than Secretary Clinton, it is state poll after state poll after state poll,” Sanders told the cheering crowd.
