Senator Bernie Sanders is focusing on banning fracking across the nation this week as the New York primaries draw closer. He and his new campaign advertisement are focusing on importance of banning fracking.
Vermont, where he is Senator, and New York, where he was born, have both banned fracking. “I want to applaud you for standing up to Gov. Cuomo and demanding that New York state ban fracking,” Sanders told the audience. But he added: “If we are serious, we need to put an end to fracking not only in New York and Vermont but all over this country.”
Sanders also mentioned how Hillary promoted fracking overseas when she was secretary of state and how much they have differed on climate change issues over the years.
Bernie doesn’t ever support fracking. @HillaryClinton does. Big difference. #DemDebate
