In 2015, the collective hacktivist group Anonymous warned Donald Trump to be wary of what speaks. The message was issued after the Republican presidential candidate nominee announced to the world his plan to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. if he is elected as president.
In the time that has passed, however, the business tycoon has only gained more popularity with white supremacist groups for his bigoted, sexist, and racist slurs. Apparently, he thought little of Anonymous’ warning.
The joke’s on him, however, as recently, the group declared “total war” on him and his hateful campaign.
In the video above, Anonymous calls for “hacktivists around the world” to “shut down his websites” and “research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know.”
The group’s goal is to “dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand,” and the full-on attack is promised to start on April Fool’s Day.
“Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we see is deeply disturbing. Your inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America, you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas. You say what your current audience wants to hear, but in reality, you don’t stand for anything except for your personal greed and power.”
Previously, Anonymous has launched cyber attacks on ISIS, the Westboro Baptist Church, and the Ku Klux Klan.
